"I do not agree with the mud-slinging in open by Additional Director General of Police R Sreelekha and Transport Commissioner Tomin J Thachankary," Chennithala told reporters here.
Refuting allegations that there was indiscipline in police force, he said "the dispute between the two officers was personal. I am planning to talk to them to sort out the matter," he added.
To a query on receipt of a petition from Thachankary seeking permission to prosecute Sreelekha, Chennithala denied having received any such petition.
Sreelekha's facebook posting which said that she was harassed by Thachankary, also her batch mate, for nearly three decades, had kicked up a controversy.
However, Thachankary had denied the allegations.
