Irani has assets worth Rs 4 crore

Television actor and BJP candidate Smriti Irani contesting against Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, declared her assets at over Rs four crore in her nominations today.
In her affidavit Irani has declared movable property worth Rs 1.36 crore, whereas immovable assets of Rs 2.78 crore.
In movable category, Irani has declared till March 31, cash in hand worth about Rs 5 lakh an savings bank account worth over Rs 26 lakh.
Gold worth close to Rs 9 lakh, diamond jewellery worth Rs 6.84 lakh and silver and semi-precious stones worth ove Rs 3.5 lakh were declared by the BJP candidate for the same category.

In the immovable property segment, Irani declared agricultural land of over 7 acres, among others.
Her husband Zubin has a movable property of more than Rs 2.25 crore and immovable property worth Rs 2.89 crore.
Irani while filing her nominations from Amethi attacked her main opponent Gandhi, saying his own party did not have faith in his abilities to name him the PM candidate.
