Singer-actress Christina Aguilera, who got engaged Matthew Rutler a few days ago, has sparked rumours that she is expecting her first child with him.

Although there is no official confirmation from the 33-year-old singer, who already has a son Max, 6, from her previous relationship, the speculation fuelled after Rutler's mother Kathleen apparently gave away a hint, reported In Touch Weekly.

Kathleen opened up a little when asked whether Christina and her film producer fiance would move to the East Coast.

"I don't know what their plans are. But when you have a baby, you're not planning on moving anywhere anytime soon!," Kathleen said.

Aguilera and Rutler got engaged after almost three years of dating.
