Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation stone for the textile park at Warangal yesterday.
"Is the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park part of the Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks (SITP) or not? If yes, Centre would make 40 per cent investment. You would not say no to that," state BJP spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao told reporters here.
He also asked the state government to announce the timeline for execution, the project report and by when the estimated jobs would be realised.
The textile park would provide direct employment to 27,000 people and create about 50,000 indirect job opportunities, the state government had said.
