It will also celebrate the divine appearance day of Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, founder Acharya of ISKCON, on Friday.
The festivities will be spread over three days beginning tomorrow till August 26 with several spiritual, devotional and cultural programmes, said ISKCON Mayapur festival committee chairman Sankarshan Nitai Das.
Thousands of devotees are expected to throng the temple from Mayapur as well as adjoining areas.
On Friday morning, the appearance anniversary of Srila Prabhupada, the first Vaishnav saint who spread the message of Shri Krishna in the western countries and established ISKCON, will be celebrated, Das said.
