Isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh get rain

Isolated places of eastern Uttar Pradesh witnessed light to moderate rains and thundershowers today, while the weather was dry in the western parts of the state.
According to the MeT office, Banda received 5 cm of rain, followed by Kakrohi (4), Gorakhpur (3), Birdghat, Jaunpur, Sahaganj, Dudhi, Ghoraewal (2 cm each), Tarabganj, Chandradeepghat and Rajghat (1 cm each).
There is a forecast of rains and thundershowers at isolated places in the state tomorrow.
