"The Tamil Nadu government should issue a detailed report on the health of the Chief Minister as number of rumours are spreading. This will help the public and AIADMK cadres know the real situation about her health," CPI leader D Pandian told reporters here.
Yesterday, Congress too had made a similar demand, days after DMK chief M Karunanidhi sought to know her health status.
Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president E V K S Elangovan had said that everyone had a right to know about her health and hence prayed that a medical bulletin be issued.
His remarks had come a day after Jayalalithaa absented herself from an Iftar event hosted by her party, citing a sudden illness.
Since then there has also been speculation in a section of media on her health status.
