IT company employee alleges rape

An employee of an IT company has accused a man of rape alleging that he exploited her by promising marriage but went on to tie the knot with another woman, the police said.
The woman lodged a complaint at the sector 20 police station here.
"The alleged victim claimed the man promised marriage and repeatedly exploited her. Later he married another woman. The complainant is an employee of an IT company," the police said.
In another incident, a man named Ram Shankar was found lying unconscious outside his workplace in sector 9 last evening, the police said
He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead, the police said, adding that the body was sent for post-mortem.
