Nimisha Mehta, who is set to debut in Hindi film industry with "Days of Tafree", feels it is difficult for star kids to make a mark as they have to live up to the expectations.
The newcomer says while it is difficult for an outsider to get work in the film industry, they don't have to face the audience with an added pressure to deliver, unlike a star kid.
When asked if it is difficult for newcomers to make a mark in Bollywood, Nimisha told PTI, "It is hard for a newcomer to initially get work, but when they get it, they just have to focus on working and the craft.
"But the industry kids have it difficult even before they start. They must be nervous for sure, for their big debut because they have so many expectations to fulfill. Everyone is watching them."
Directed by Krishnadev Yagnik, "Days of Tafree" is a remake of the Gujrati film "Chhello Divas". The movie chronicles the journey of growing up, highs and lows in relationship, love and compassion.
Nimisha, who recently featured in the web series "AISHA My Virtual Girlfriend", believes it is important for a newcomer to start with the right movie.
"You have to decide what is coming your way and pick the best from that. What you think you can justify and can portray yourself in the right light. You need to be sure that you can do justice to the job."
"Days of Tafree" is scheduled to release on September 23.
