"Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was keen to develop Jammu as an independent tourist destination and had taken several initiatives in the direction. But because of his sudden demise, the process has come to a halt for sometime," Gupta said, adding he is hopeful Jammu will find its place on the tourist map of the country to realise Sayeed's dream.
