J&K Bank counters open on Friday, Sunday

With a view to facilitate banking transactions, Jammu and Kashmir Bank will keep all the business units and extension counters open across the valley on Friday and Sunday.
With a view to facilitate unhindered banking transactions to the people of valley, all the Business Units and Extension Counters of J&K Bank across Kashmir valley shall remain open on 3rd (Friday) and 5th (Sunday) October, which are otherwise public holidays under Negotiable Instrument Act 1881," a bank spokesman said.
He said the decision was taken to avoid inconvenience likely to be caused to the bank's customers on account of consecutive holidays on 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 7th October.
