J-K CM begins two-day grievance-redressal camp in Bandipora

As part of her public outreach programme, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today began a two-day grievance-redressal camp in north Kashmir's Bandipora district.
At the camp, she listened to scores of deputations and grievances of hundreds of people, an official spokesperson said here.
The demands put forth included strengthening the district hospital, pacing up the conservation works at Wular Lake, construction of Bandipora-Lolab road besides strengthening road network and health facilities in the district, he said.
The spokesperson said the people also hailed the chief minister for withdrawal of cases against youth.
On November 30, Mufti ordered withdrawal of cases of stone-pelting against 4,327 youths in the state.
The chief minister listened to the demands of the people and in many cases she directions for the redressal of grievances on the spot, the spokesperson said.
He said the public outreach programmes launched by Mufti have evoked an interesting response from the people.
So far, the chief minister has conducted such programmes at Pulwama, Anantnag, Kuglam, Kupwara, Budgam and Baramulla in Kashmir Valley and Ramban, Samba and Kathua districts in Jammu region.
