J-K Cong demands payment of migrant relief before Eid-ul-Zuha

Jammu and Kashmir Congress today demanded payment of the relief of migrants in advance before the holy festival of Eid-ul-Zuha.
"We demand that the cash relief for the month of September be paid in advance to migrants before the holy festival of Eid-ul-Zuha so as has been a practice in past for celebration of religious festivals," Convenor of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Migrant Cell, Ghulam Qadir Bhat said today.
Flanked by its President Hira Lal Pandita, the convenor appealed to Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in this regard.
They also demanded speeding up of process for implementation of PM's employment package for Kashmiri migrants announced by the then PM Dr Manmohan Singh way back in 2008.
They also demanded compensation for over-aged youth and damaged properties.
