"To bring transparency and curb corruption in the education department, the state government is going to come up with on-line transfer portal in the state," Minister of State for Education Priya Sethi said today.
The online system will incorporate the database of all the employees of different districts of education department, she said.
The transfers within the department will be done automatically by the on-line system within different zones of district after completion of stay at a particular place of positing, she said.
Sethi, who was the chief guest at a function of Bishop Ivan Pereira, President of Education Society, awarded 145 position holders with cash and memento.
Meritorious students and their parents were felicitated with an objective to honour them and boost their self-confidence and thus promote education in rural and urban areas of the state.
