At least 12 structures, including ten residential houses, were damaged in a major fire that broke out in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.
However, there was no report of any casualty in the incident, they said today.
The blaze erupted from a residential house in Sopore township of the district late last night, and soon spread to the adjacent structures, police said.
Ten residential houses and two buildings belonging to Auqaf (religious welfare board) were damaged in the fire.
The fire was brought under control in some hours with the help of fire tenders and its cause is being ascertained, they said.
