J&K govt announces summer vacations in Jammu from June 6

Jammu and Kashmir government has announced summer vacations for all schools in Jammu region from June 6.
As per the order, all government institutions including recognised private schools upto higher secondary level falling in summer zones of Jammu division shall observe summer vacations with effect from June 6 to July 31.
Any default on the part of private schools in observance of the calendar of vacations so authorised shall attract action under rules, the order said.
