As per the order, all government institutions including recognised private schools upto higher secondary level falling in summer zones of Jammu division shall observe summer vacations with effect from June 6 to July 31.
Any default on the part of private schools in observance of the calendar of vacations so authorised shall attract action under rules, the order said.
