"Our mission is to provide quality education for the development of the state and country," Minister for Higher Education, Mohammad Akbar Lone said after inaugurating the administrative block of Government Degree College at Kathua, 90-kms from here.
Education being a vital sector continues to receive the attention of the government, the minister said.
On the importance of moral education, Lone said teachers have to play a vital role in cultivating morals and ethics in students for making them good citizens.
