On the instruction of state Health Minister Shabir Ahmed Khan, Director Health Services, Jammu has constituted a committee to enquire into the matter of alleged airlifting of the rape accused, an official spokesman said.
The accused was allegedly airlifted along with the injured persons of Rajouri road accident.
The committee comprising state TB Officer, Jammu, Dr VP Sharma and state Veneriologist, Dr Anoup Manahas will enquire into the incident and submit the report to the concerned within 72 hours, he said.
Ahmed also managed to get the initial ex-gratia amount of Rs 5,000 given to accident victims before he boarded the aircraft in Rajouri for Jammu.
However, he was later arrested.
On March 8, a woman had lodged a complaint at the Manjakote police station that Parvez had attempted to rape her following which a case was registered against him.
