J&K Govt sanctions 314 posts for implementation of ICDS

Jammu and Kashmir government has accorded sanction to the creation of 314 posts of various categories for implementation of Integrated Child Development Services in the state, an official spokesman said today.
The decision in this regard was taken by the state Cabinet which met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah last evening, he said.
The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the transfer of state land measuring 240 kanals and 9 marlas (over 30 acres) situated in village Nardi in Akhnoor area here on lease basis to the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to establish a Navodaya school, the spokesman said.
