J&K govt suspends revenue official in Rajouri

The Jammu and Kashmir government has suspeded a revenue official in Rajouri district over dereliction of duty.
The residents of Lam and Pukherni area had complained to the Rajouri deputy commissioner against Mohammad Imran, patwari of Lam area, a district official said.
Acting on the complaint, the tehsildar of Qila Darhal conducted an enquiry and reported regular absence of Imran and denial of basic services to people and routine revenue reports, the official said.
Taking a strong note of the report, the Rajouri revenue department suspended the erring official.
