Jack Whitehall wins comedy award for third time in a row

Comedian Jack Whitehall has won best comedy performer award for the third time in a row at the British Comedy Awards.
The 26-year-old star won this award to beat stars such as Lee Mack and Graham Norton, reported BBC.
Norton, 51, received two awards for best entertainment personality and programme for his TV show 'The Graham Norton Show' and Mack, 46, got best TV male award for his role in BBC1's 'Would I Lie to You?'.
Katherine Parkinson won best comedy actress award for her role in the Channel 4 comedy series 'The IT Crowd' and Harry Enfield took the best comedy actor award for his role in 'Harry & Paul's Story of the Twos', which was also named as the best sketch show.

The British Comedy Academy Lifetime Achievement Award went to the British comedy group 'Monty Python'. The group includes Michael Palin, 71, Terry Jones, 72, Eric Idle, 71, Terry Gilliam, 74, John Cleese, 75, and Graham Chapman, who died at the age of 48.
Irish sitcom 'Moone Boy' won award for the best sitcom and British comedy series 'Toast of London' was named best new comedy.
