Jagathrakshakan, a sitting Lok Sabha MP from Arakkonam, is contesting from Sriperumbudur constituency and has declared movable assets of Rs 15,47,71,455 which include bonds and shares owned by him valued at Rs 2,13,69,570 and in his wife J Anusuya valued at Rs 13,34,01,885.
According to the affidavit filed by the former Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting with the State Election Commission, on details of immovable assets, he has declared Rs 62,56,82,000 which include owning of agricultural land and commercial buildings valued at Rs 6,98,09,000 while his wife has Rs 55,58,73,000.
Currently, Jagathrakshakan and his wife has Rs 72,43,508 in bank accounts. For the year 2012-13, he has shown total income of Rs 2,19,69,985, the affidavit said.
