A team of security personnel arrived at the Airport yesterday to review arrangements and held discussions with the airport officials.
"There will be alternative arrangements for the landing of US President's in case of a diversion," a senior airport official said today.
He informed that security personnel reached the airport in a plane yesterday to review the arrangements.
He however did not disclose further details.
Obama is scheduled to reach India on January 25 for a three-day state visit during which he will be attending the Republic Day function in New Delhi and also visit Taj Mahal in Agra.
