"Only Way is Essex" star Jake Hall, who was allegedly stabbed with a broken bottle during a night out in Marbella Spain, has been ordered by doctors to stay in hospital for a month.
Hall is making a good recovery but doctors have warned him that he'll have to seek medical care for at least another four weeks, reported Female First.
"Jake's still in hospital and he's got to stay there for a month," said his "Only Way is Essex" co-star, Argent.
Although his treatment is still on-going, doctors in Spain are currently in discussions with a medical team in the UK about transferring the star to a hospital in his native.
Hall has been banned by producers from taking part in the summer special of the ITVBe show which will start filming abroad later this month in order to focus on his recovery.
"We are letting Jake focus on his recovery before discussing a return to the series," an insider said.
The producers have now decided to change the location following Jake's near fatal stabbing.
"Producers are looking for a new destination. It's unlikely the cast will ever return in an official capacity," the source said.
Hall was rushed to hospital on May 31 after he was allegedly attacked with the sharp object at Aqwa Mist nightclub but swift interventions prevented any long term issues.
