Jamatiya sworn in as minister in Tripura

Ruling CPI-M MLA Naresh Chandra Jamatiya was today sworn in as a minister.
Governor Debananda Konwar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Jamatiya in the presence of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and his Cabinet colleagues at the lawn of the Raj Bhavan here.
Jamatiya has been inducted in the Cabinet in place of Commerce and Industries Minister Jitendra Chowdhury who resigned on Tuesday following his election as an MP from Tripura East (ST) constituency.
Jamatiya, a senior party leader, was elected from Killa-Bagma assembly constituency in Gomati district.
