The President in the capacity as Visitor has appointed Ahmad as the Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Orissa, Koraput (CUO) for the interim period till the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor, a CUO release said today.
Earlier Ahmad, an earth scientist who had served at the Department of Geology, University of Delhi, was the Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir.
