Jammu DGP seeks formulation of comprehensive traffic plan

In order to ensure better traffic management in Jammu city, a top police official has sought formulation of a comprehensive traffic plan.
"The officers have been asked to formulate a comprehensive traffic plan for Jammu to ensure better traffic management so that people are not put to any inconvenience due to security reasons," DGP K Rajendra Kumar said here.
Addressing a meeting of senior police officers yesterday, the DGP stressed upon the officers to work in close coordination and make all required security arrangements to keep the law and order maintained.
During the meeting, Rajendra sought reports from the attendees about the security arrangements put in place for smooth re-opening of move offices in winter capital.

Other issues discussed during the meeting included security and other arrangements made by different wings of Jammu and Kashmir Police for Darbar Move and it was informed that all necessary steps have been taken to ensure the security of civil secretariat and other offices.
