Janam TV to be launched in October

: Yet another Malayalam Television channel will be launched by October this year.
'Janam TV' is the first television channel in Malayalam with "true national" perspective, its Managing Director P Viswaroopan told reporters here.
The Channel logo will be unveiled at a function here tomorrow by Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi. While Film director and Chalachitra Academy Chairman, Priyadarshan will launch the channel's website, P Parameshwaran, Director Bharateeya Vichara Kendram will deliver the key note address, he said
Former Union minister, O Rajagopal, will be among those attending the function.
Janam Multimedia Ltd is launching the television channel to play an active role in protecting the nation's interest by impartial reporting and investigative journalism, Chief Operating officer, Rajesh G Pillai said.

A Public ltd company has been formed by the promoters, who are planning to raise Rs 50 crore from prospective shareholders in three phases in a span of five year period.
Well known Music Director M Jayachandran, who composed Music for Janam Theme song and NSG Commando Manesh, who was seriously injured while defending the nation during Nov 26, 2008 Mumbai Terror attack, will be honoured at the function.
