The photo created buzz on the social media as fans joked about the 25-year-old Derulo's rumoured fall but it is revealed neither the man in it was the popular singer nor the picture was taken at the event, reported Independent.
The photograph is of Cannes Film Festival 2011.
Derulo took to Instagram to dismiss the rumour. "Lmao I'm at rehearsal in LA. Lol," he captioned a picture of himself.
