A special bench of Justice Siddharth Mridul extended Ajay Chautala's bail till February 19 on medical grounds.
Indian National Lok Dal chief O P Chautala had surrendered in Tihar Jail here on October 11 last year, a day after the high court cancelled his interim bail for flouting bail conditions by campaigning for his party in assembly polls.
On July 11 last year, the high court had reserved its verdict on the appeals of 55 convicts, including Chautala and his son Ajay, in the case.
Among other convicts, 44 were sentenced to four years in jail and one to five years.
All of them were held guilty of cheating, forgery, using fake documents as genuine, conspiracy under IPC and of abusing their official position under Prevention of Corruption Act.
