Nagaland Tribes Action Committee Kohima and JCC had set a three-day deadline on February 8 for the chief minister to step down on 'moral grounds' for the present turmoil in the state.
Meanwhile, JCC has decried the statements made by Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang and Home Minister Y Patton that it has accepted the proposal of the holding Urban Local Bodies (ULB) election with 33 per cent women reservation.
Meanwhile, the Nagaland Tribes Action Committee (NTAC) Kohima has decided to hold a meeting to discuss its course of action following the Chief Minister's refusal to step down as demanded.
NTAC and JCC had set three-day deadline for Zeliang to step down on 'moral grounds' over the present crisis in the state. The deadline expired midnight last night.
NTAC leaders said they have requested all Kohima based tribal organisations to attend the meeting at 1 PM tomorrow.
