Branding the JMM-Congress-RJD coalition government to be installed in Jharkhand tomorrow, as "anti-Jharkhand and remote controlled government", the Jharkhand Disom Party (JDP) today decided to oppose and torch effigies of the government across the state.
A decision in this regard was taken following a meeting of the party leaders and decided to torch the effigy of the new government in all districts of the state tomorrow, when the Hemant Soren-led government would take oath, said Salkhan Murmu, JDP president here today.
Alleging that JMM, which was an ally in the previous Arjun Munda-led government, had supported the government in signing several Memorandum of Understanding with prospective investors and forced the local masses to displace from their own land, Murmu alleged that the government would be "anti-people".
"Soren will be a puppet as the government will be controlled by a remote control from Delhi and Patna," Murmu said alleging that Congress and Laloo Prasad Yadav-led RJD always had an anti-Jharkhand posture.
Meanwhile, BJP has already announced to observe 'Dhikkar Diwas' (Reproach day) to oppose the new government.
BJP Jharkhand unit's spokesman Amarpreet Kale said all committees of the party would stage demonstration and hoist black flags across the state to oppose the government.
