Jeep falls in gorge, one killed

One person was killed and 10 others were injured, three of them seriously, when the jeep they were travelling in fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district.
The mishap occurred last evening near Hat-Kalyani village on Deval-Gwaldam road, police said today.
While one person was killed on the spot, 10 others who sustained injuries in the accident have been admitted at Tharali's Primary Health Centre, they said.
Three of the injured are in a serious condition.
