The 32-year-old actress, who lost 80 pounds couple of years ago, said she no longer feels self-conscious on the red carpet, reported Contactmusic.
The 'Feeling Good' hitmaker was seen wearing short white dress with a plunging neckline at the BET Honours 2014 on February 8.
"You need to embrace yourself, find those things that you love about yourself and know that no one is like you, and own being you," she said.
The BET Honours is hosted by 'How I Met Your Mother' star Wayne Brady and it will air on February 24.
"I love the thirties. I'm like, now I got the hang of it and being settled with myself and embracing it. I love the space that I'm in," she had said.
