Jennifer Lawrence returns in David O Russell's new romance

Oscar-nominated director David O Russell is reteaming with his 'Silver Linings Playbook' leading lady Jennifer Lawrence for a new romance. The 22-year old star will lead the cast of drama 'The Ends of the Earth', about an oil tycoon who loses everything because of an affair, reported the Hollywood Reporter. Announcing her casting in his new film, Russell said, "Jennifer possesses a self-deprecating humor that made all of the cast and crew feel at ease. She is that kind of person. "She is the most dedicated person I know. She is devoted to her family, and they have been the true inspiration for her character and integrity. Her acting is effortless, and she always makes it look easy." Russell will take on the project after his next movie, an untitled drama with Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Amy Adams. Lawrence has a cameo in that movie. Lawrence has been sweeping the award season this year by winning Golden Globe and SAG awards for her performance as jobless young widow in 'Playbooks'. The actress is also a strong contender for the best actress Oscar this year for the film.
