'If Only' actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has given up Twitter as she thinks many people use the micro-blogging site to spread negativity and send threats.
The actress has become the latest celebrity who gave up Twitter, after Alec Baldwin's resignation from the social media, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Unfortunately with all the negativity people choose to send on twitter as well as threats to there (sic) own well being. I'm sad to say twitter is No longer for me. I have enjoyed all the kindness and love that came my way, as well as support. But this break is needed," she said.
The "Ghost Whisperer" actress continues, "Life should be filled with positivity and holding each other up, not making threats and sending bad vibes. To those of you who made it a joy, thank you from the bottom of my heart."
The 34-year-old beauty is currently expecting her first child with actor Brian Hallisay, also 34, whom she was engaged to after announcing her pregnancy. He reportedly proposed in late May while they were vacationing in Europe.
The couple first shared screen on NBC's short-lived series "Love Bites" and later reunited on Lifetime's show "The Client List".
She was previously engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall, whom she met when he guested on "Ghost Whisperer". After they split, she dated her co-star Jamie Kennedy.
