Jeppiar beat KSEB men in inaugural match

Jeppiar Institute of Technology, Chennai beat Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) 80-78 in a closely contested inaugural match of the 51st All India Basketball Tournament for PSG Trophy for men here today.
In the women's section for the 14th CRI Pumps Trophy, Chattisgarh defeated Nepal 82-45.
While Vijay gained 26 points for the winners in the men's category, Ajeeth Sugunan took 15 points for the losers.
In a one-sided women's match, Poonam Chaturvedi alone scored 45 points for the winners.
