The 58-year-old submitted paperwork at the Los Angeles County Superior Court in November to change his last name to Jacksun and it has finally been approved, reported TMZ.
Jermaine had to publicly announce his name change several times in either a magazine or newspaper over the period of a few months before it became official.
Last year, Jermaine released an album of classic jazz songs 'I Wish You Love' and is currently performing in Europe as part of The Jacksons' Unity Tour with his brothers Jackie, Marlon and Tito.
The siblings recently claimed Michael was persecuted like Jesus.
