Jet Airways is exploring various options to optimise its fleet but has no immediate plan to put its aircraft for sale.
In a regulatory filing today, the carrier said it was "exploring various options which would optimise its fleet of aircraft and international and domestic network".
"However we have no current plans to dispose of any substantial part of our fleet," it added.
The carrier has been looking at ways to raise funds by various means, including possible sale or sale and lease-back of aircraft.
Shares of the company dropped over eight per cent to close at Rs 376.65 on the BSE.
