Balaji, working as a Inspector of police at Srivilliputtur, was staying with his family at Duraisamy Nagar here. He who went along with his family to his father-in law's house at Alagapanagar for Deepavali celebrations.
When he ruturned home last night, he found the door lock broken and the jewls and cash kept in the almirah missing, police said.
