Addressing a maiden press conference at Tilak Pustkalay (Congress Bhawan) here, Khan, accompanied by district in-charge of the party Jawaharlal Sinha and the lone party MLA from the district Banna Gupta, said the aim of the program was to reach out to rural masses, which comprised 65 to 70 per cent of the population.
The district has been divided into 17 division and an observer would be nominated for each division, who alongwith the party leaders will visit remote places in rural pockets to highlight the good work done by the party, he said adding that the program would be held in phase-wise.
