Jhunjhunu SHO, ASI arrested for accepting Rs 2.5 lakh bribe

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Jhunjhunu Ashwani Sharma and ASI Dharmpal were today arrested by sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2.5 lakh for not arresting a person in a land dispute case, an ACB official said.
One Indrajeet told ACB that SHO Sharma demanded a bribe of Rs 2.5 lakh from him to avoid his arrest in the land dispute case lodged by another person Kasim, the official said.
A case under anti-corruption act was lodged against the accused cops.
