 "JK Cement Q1 profit zooms to Rs 61 cr")
JK Cement on Saturday reported manifold jump in standalone net profit to Rs 60.85 crore for the quarter ended June 30.
The company's net profit in the corresponding period of the previous financial year was Rs 1.05 crore, JK Cement Ltd said in a BSE filing.
The company's net sales increased to Rs 886.70 crore, over Rs 812.09 crore in year-ago period.
The company is the second largest manufacturer of white cement in the country, with an annual capacity of 6,00,000 tonnes, according to its website.
JK Cement is also the second largest producer of wall putty in the country with an annual installed capacity of 7,00,000 tonnes.
