JK Cement Q3 net profit jumps over 3-fold to Rs 66 cr

JK Cement today reported over three-fold jump in its standalone net profit to Rs 66.43 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
It had reported a net profit Rs 17.67 crore in October- December period a year-ago, JK Cement said in a BSE filing.
However, JK Cement's total income was marginally up 0.82 per cent to Rs 1,061.70 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 1,052.99 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Its total expenses were at Rs 935.05 in Q3 of FY 2016-17, down 3.22 per cent, as against Rs 966.23 crore in the year-ago quarter.
