The tour was flagged off by Director Agriculture Jammu S S Jamwal from the Directorate of Agriculture, Krishi Bhawan, here, an official spokesman said.
The exposure visit is being conducted by Farmers Training Centre of the department under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA), he added.
Director Agriculture Jammu, while interacting with the farmers on the occasion said that the tour was being organised under ATMA with a specific objective of acquainting the farmers with modern techniques for Commercial Agriculture, emerging trends in organic farming, processing, marketing and seed production aspects of different crops.
He further said the farmers will also be made aware about scope of organic farming in adoption and certification of different kind of agriculture produce so that they may get remunerative price by these farming practices in the state.
