JK Guv for surveillance along IB in Jammu

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today asked the Army to heighten vigil along the international border in Jammu region in the wake of continued attempts of infiltrations, ceasefire violations and militantactivities.
Maj Gen Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, GOC, 26 Infantry Division today calledon Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here and briefed theGovernor about the security situation along the IB in the area of hisresponsibility, an official spokesman said.
Considering the continuing attempts at infiltration, ceasefireviolation and militant activities in the hinterland, the Governorstressed on the need for heightened surveillance on all fronts.
