Jockey D K Ashis critical after fall from horse

The condition of jockey D K Ashis, participating in the Calcutta OAKS, who fell down from a horse yesterday during the race, is still critical, doctors said here.
Ashis fell near the last home turn during the race yesterday, while riding Bold As Brave and was rushed to a hospital, said RCTC vice-president Robin Corner.
"The doctors say Ashis' condition is still critical. We are hoping for his early recovery," Corner said.
