The 44-year-old actor took to Twitter where he unveiled the first look of the film. He is also the producer of the Abhishek Sharma-directed venture.
"So happy to bring you the first look of my biggest test ever. #ParmanuFirstLook @johnabrahament @kriarj @ParmanuTheMovie," wrote Abraham.
The poster shows a part of Rajasthan's map with the nuclear testing site, Pokhran highlighted with a red dot, along with the watermark of the John's left profile superimposed on it.
The film is based on Pokhran-II, the series of five nuclear bomb test explosions conducted in the Rajasthan town in 1998.
The movie is scheduled to release on December 8 this year.
The film also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani.
