John Travolta to visit Dubai

Hollywood superstar John Travolta is all set to visit Dubai next week and he says he is looking forward to experiencing the diverse range of culture, cuisine and architecture.
Travolta is Ambassador-at-Large of Qantas airline and he will explore Qantas' new international hub for flights to London and Australia. This will be the 59-year-old actor's first trip to the UAE.
"I am really excited, I have been wanting to experience Dubai for many years now, and the launch of Qantas services to Dubai has given me the perfect opportunity to do so. I will spend the week touring around the Emirate," Travolta said in a statement.

Qantas is also inviting fans to win tickets to meet the "Saturday Night Fever" star during his trip to Dubai on Thursday, September 12.
"John Travolta has been part of the Qantas family for over ten years. He is a highly qualified pilot with 747-400 'wings' and flies his own ex-Qantas Boeing 707 around the world, painted in its original 1960s livery," said Rohan Garnett, Qantas Middle East & North Africa General Manager, Middle East.
