'John Wick: Chapter 3' to release in May 2019

Keanu Reeves' action movie "John Wick: Chapter 3" is expected to hit theaters on May 17, 2019.
The franchise has been a success for Lionsgate with a combined USD 260 million in worldwide grosses and studio executives have indicated in recent months that they were planning a third movie, reported Variety.
Both the films were directed by Chad Stahelski from scripts written by Derek Kolstad with Reeves portraying a retired hitman seeking vengeance for the killing of his puppy, a gift from his late wife.
The trio will be returning for the third installment.
In addition to the films, it had been reported earlier this year that a television series is also being developed under the working title of "The Continental".

While Reeves as Wick would make occasional appearances in the television series, it would not be centered around him.
